I wanted to try some outdoor locations, to see if the narrative of my samples representing a Diary could be reflected in the location they were displayed in. For me the beach is somewhere personal to me, it's a place i went a lot with my Grandad growing up in the summer and sadly he passed as i was about to start university. I began studying Textiles at Farnham but it wasn't for me, so i transferred to Canterbury and moved with my fiancé to Broadstairs, so this idea of my samples being on a beach or laid out in front of the shoreline feels very personal and raw to my story and where i am today, which without my Grandad i don't think i would have had such a big love for Art & Photography.
