Once I have finished weaving my final piece, I want to tie on the Polaroid's to the relevant days, so you can follow the moments that stood out to me that day. 

Polaroid Walks ... Inspiration.

I really like the idea of combining photography with weave, still weaving instinctivley but adding the photography aspect to document what i do daily... This is something inspired by the Instagram book, but what i love about Polaroid's that they are raw and honest, you can't perfect a Polaroid, it is very in the moment, so i feel it stays true to emotions in a diary.

I found Maryanne's work on Pinterest, her work appealed to me through her bold use of colour and texture. 

I had the chance to email Maryanne and ask her how she transformed her woven wall hangings into a  a buisness venture, that she now has expanded and teaches sold out workshops worldwide. Maryanne inspired me to see my work in as a different application, and to really start thinking about honing in on my skills and style of weave.
